After connecting your account, the AI assistant cannot initiate transactions, move funds, or make any changes to your account. Any future "write" capabilities would require a separate, explicit agreement with additional security controls.
Your account data is only shared when you explicitly grant access. Once data is securely transmitted from the MCP Server, our control over the data ceases. You are solely responsible for the security of your AI, its platform, your devices, and understanding its data usage. While Claude and ChatGPT Admin users can share connectors with their team, only team members with Grasshopper Bank login credentials can establish the connection and access bank account data.
Once the connection is established, permissions are managed separately within Grasshopper’s online banking platform and the respective AI provider’s platform, allowing administrators to view, modify, or revoke access at any time.
